At our restaurant you will feel the beauty and serenity of the past and already forgotten times blended with the harmony of old stone architecture and the scented Mediterranean vegetation by the sea. The amphorae and the stone containers tell the story of the time of our ancestors. Your gastronomic delight begins in this remarkable atmosphere. Our gastronomic offer is based on domestic (local) Mediterranean recipes.
You will feel the atmosphere of grandma's kitchen tasting the homemade bread while you wait for one of the numerous fish, meat or vegetarian dishes from our offer. What is special in our offer is a dish that is created at the spur of the moment by our chefs depending on the fresh fish, meat or vegetables they get.
We use our homemade, ecologically grown olive oil and herbs. The fish and crabs swimming peacefully in the huge aquarium not far from your table will help you feel more comfortable and relaxed. The Barbat Restaurant is the winner of the award for the most beautiful and best-decorated terrace on the Island of Rab in 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005.
In 2004 we won the Golden Plaque for the best domestic offer of food and beverages in the entire Kvarner region. In 2005 the guests rated the Barbat Hotel Villa, of which we are a part, the best hotel on the Island of Rab.
