Culture

Rab is a focal point for many top-class cultural events, especially in summer. The Rab Musical Evenings feature top musicians both from Croatian and abroad. The churches and squares of Rab are transformed into stages, each creating its own special atmosphere.Besides a very wide range of musicalevents, from classical music, to music for young people, to promenade concerts, Ran in hte summertime is also an open air studio for numerous painters. The town's narrow streets are tran sformed into an open-air painting exibition, which lends the town a special colour and atmosphere. The programme of cultural and entertainment events is designed to provide for the interests of all of Rab's guests.
